We Are At War.

                     Ephesians 6:12

Last week an acquaintance of mine wrote a Facebook status on the origin of the bible and how old it is, where it was found and that you would have to go beyond colonisation to prove that it was forced upon us. The post was reported and the person went as far as emailing his employer. This angered and surprised a lot of people, myself included. I mean soo many people write some of the most bogus things on Facebook but never get reported, he swore no-one so what happened to freedom of speech?

Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of this verse, we are at war and it is becoming more apparent every single day. Every other day there is now something fighting against Christianity disguised as something that is normal or 'essential'. The suppression of the church seems to be the order of the day, where do you stand in all of this?

The children of the kingdom need to understand that we are not fighting against mere mortals, so that neighbour, that cousin, co-worker, boss, even the suddenly changed bishop are not your enemy but just mere tools used to test you.  We need to remember that the serpent was a deceiver, still is. He will use the things closest to you to suppress the word of God that lives in you. He is not here to make friends or fight for the people, he is here for the collection of souls.

The sole purpose of all of this is to corrupt, confuse and conquer.

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived, the time of the Lord is near. This is no longer the time to be complacent or let your faith be blown about. It is time we stopped just putting on the armour of God to fight our own demons or just to get by through our daily lives, no! It is time to be courageous and bring back the vigilance of the first church.

Body of Christ you must be armed, you must do the work in order to survive. Obedience is still greater than sacrifice, so take time out. Meditate on the word, the Holy Spirit has never been more clearer than He is right now. We just have to listen, do not be swayed or encouraged by fake prophets and their petty doctrines. Our God is supreme and yes Jesus Christ died for our sins.

We do not worship statues or images, those cannot speak nor hear. Our God is within us, by us and above us.  His word is eternal and it never changes. It will not be moved, through years of endless scorn and bloodshed it remains the same. Be steadfast and firm in your belief, yes question it all. Speak to Him on all your questions and anything the deceiver may try to put against your belief. You will be surprised at where you will find your answers because trust and believe that there are answers.
